Hi, I'm Pom-pei! I am a gentle, laid back male Shar-Pei rescued from a PA shelter. I love people. All of the people who helped to transport me said that I was a wonderful, sweet, good boy. I was easy to handle, rode well in the car and airplane, and took treats gently. The folks at the veterinarian's office where I stayed for a few days said I was the nicest Shar-Pei they had ever met. I do very well in my crate at my foster home. I have already been to the veterinarian and was neutered and had my entropion surgery. I am ready to go to my furever home!
I have been ok with other dogs at the veterinarian's office where I am staying, but I did not do very well with another male Pei that I met previously. If there are other dogs in my potential furever home, we will need to do a meet and greet to make sure we like each other.
