Meet Phoebe... our little 4-year-old, 9-lb. deer-head Chihuahua who's looking for her forever home. Some may consider Phoebe to be 'handicapped' because she's deaf, but she doesn't realize she's any different from her other foster pup buddies.
Phoebe is quite a character! She's never met a stranger, and runs to lovingly greet people when they enter her foster home... adults and children alike.
Phoebe is well housetrained, but since she's small, she needs to be taken out often. She will do best in a home where somebody is home much of the day to let her out to 'potty'. Phoebe doesn't care for a crate... and will be very vocal when crated. She really wants to be snuggling next to her person, or one of her canine buddies when resting.
Phoebe needs a home with a fenced yard since she's deaf. She's a happy little girl who loves playing with any and all of her toys.
Phoebe is in good health and is spayed, microchipped, current on her Rabies and DHP/Parvo vaccines. She tested negative for Heartworms and is on heartworm and flea prevention.
Phoebe’s adoption fee is $250.00.
Forever Home Canine Rescue offers a 3-week trial period with all our adoptions, just to be sure that the pet is a good match for the adoptive family. The fee is refunded if the adoption does not work out within the trial period. We want to be sure that each of our pets will have the perfect “forever” home!

Forever Home Canine Rescue adopts out-of-state, but we never “ship” or “transport” our pets. An approved adopter must come to North Carolina to meet their new canine companion and then take him/her back home with them.
