Moon Pie is a stray that I found and brought home while I was visiting relatives in another state. She was wandering the neighborhood for several months. When I met her, we bonded very quickly. My husband and I had her treated for heartworm, and then had her spayed and vaccinated. The first veterinarian estimated that Moon Pie was 2 years old when she was vaccinated for the plane trip to Seattle, and that was about 9 months ago. We are using June 4th as her birthday since that is the birthday of our first dog.
She is wonderful with people, including children, and loves to be loved, and we love having her. However, she has a lot of loving energy that makes her an unsuitable companion for our other dog, who is almost 10 years old, and finds Moon Pie irksome much of the time.
We would like to find a good home for Moon Pie knowing that her loving energy will be appreciated.
