Jazzy is our special needs girl from West Virginia where she probably lived an outside life struggling to survive. She arrived here in a bad way with four puppies in tow, that was in November and her health issues are presently under control. Now that she is feeling (and looking) much better she is beginning to enjoy the best life she has ever had - so far.
For more information on Jazzy, call AWS at 860-354-1350 email animalwelfare.socty@snet.net or visit us during adoption hours (Tuesday from 11a.m until 7 p.m and Wednesday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) Adoption fees for Adult Dogs is $300.

Jazzy, a New Milford Husky/Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Cocker Spaniel for sale in New Milford, or seeking a Husky/Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in New Milford.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Husky/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
