My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***ADOPTED***

Hi! I'm Envy! I am a 2 year old beautiful beagle girl who is looking for a new forever home. I came from Eloy, AZ with my brother Cisco. We where found by a wonderful lady, an Arizona Beagle Rescue Alumni who rescued us from the freezing night. My previous family moved, and just left us behind. She knew just what to do, and called AZBR to come and get us, so we would have a chance to find new LOVING homes.

My foster mom reports that I had a bit of separation anxiety when I first came to their house. She is getting me used to the kennel, and I am starting to like going in my kennel more and more each day. I was probably kept outside my whole life, and am finally going to learn to be a real person's dog! Like sleeping inside my kennel at night in a nice warm cozy house.

I do sleep well in my kennel at night, and my foster mom reports that I am starting to learn to tell them when I need to go outside and go to the bathroom. They don't have a doggy door, so they are really working with me to be a good beagle girl.

We go for several walks every day, I am very peppy and full of energy. I walk well on the leash and do not pull. I LOVE the companionship of the other beagle in the house - I follows him everywhere, including walking right behind him during our walks. My foster mom thinks that I would also probably do well in a house where there is another dog. My foster mom thinks I should be in a home that has someone there most of the time. I do have separation anxiety, and don't like to be in my kennel that long. I also am finding out how great kids are. I just love them!!!

Overall I am a very loving and affectionate dog. I love to crawl up in my foster parents' lap and sleep, I love to give kisses and have my belly scratched. I am learning basic commands like sit, stay, off, no, okay, and bed. I am also learning to play beagles' favorite game "find it". My foster parents are going to be very sad to give me away because I'm such a wonderful beagle-girl, but in the mean time, my foster parents look forward to spending more time with me and getting to know me better.

Meanwhile, someone out there must want me to come to their house and be thier new beagle girl. I do hope that you will check me out!
