My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

He is our newest addition (3/28/18), so we are learning new info about him everyday. He is proving to be very bright though; already learning appropriate manners before getting out of his crate and knows how to sit. We are currently working on "down", "come", and refining his leash walking skills. Socialization is incredibly important for puppies, so we are trying to expose him to as many new people and situations daily.

He is about 6-7 months old and will be neutered as soon as we are able to get some more groceries in him after arriving to us very emaciated. As far as breed goes, we just know his spotted little body is so soft, and the patches on his back almost look like a semi colon. We imagine he won't get much bigger than 40-45 lbs when full grown.

He loves people, and although that includes children, toddlers are scary to him, so a home with respectful children over 5 would be a better fit. He loves dogs and is respectful of kitties.

His adoption fee of $250 includes:
*vaccinations
*deworming
*neuter
*microchip
*started on heartworm prevention

The shelter software system requires us to choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of our dogs we are only guessing predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
