My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please read the whole description.  To be considered for adoption of Beany you must fill out our adoption application. It does not commit you to anything. Beany...professional bear rug model and belly rub provocateur...this puppy loves to be outdoors and play with his brother, Cecil. They are attached at the hip. He barks when he is alerting to something like our dog Kyra hiding in the bushes and when he is playing with his brother. He is a scruffy goofball with a face that will melt your heart. He is crate trained but can only hold his water for four hours at a time. He prefers to sleep on a cold coor or with his humans on the bed. He eats 1 1/2 to 2 cups (shared with his brother out of the same bowl) three times a day. They eat a grain free puppy food comparable to Blue Buffalo. He has also just learned to use the dog door so maybe potty training will take a turn for the better soon.

Beanie would like a young family that could grow with him. He gets along with other dogs and would prefer to belong to a family that had at least one other dog or cat for company. I said he would do well with older kids because his sharp teeth would really hurt the tender engers of a toddler.

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
