Skittles is 11 years old, has lived with her housemate Abigail for 7 years. Used to get along with our previous dogs, but when a new dog proved to be not cat safe, both cats do shy away from dogs now. Skittles is the more independent and aloof of the pair, it takes a while for her to warm up to people. She really loves my 9 year old granddaughter, but it took a bit. Loves catnip and furry mice. She is a challenge for nail trims and does not like car rides to the vet. Give her a warm windowsill and she's happy. Currently she is forced to remain in 1 room with her housemate for their safety, I would really love for them to be in a home where they can run around the house and play. I truly believe that she will come back out of her shell once she is not in such a high stress environment. She is really a sweetheart.
