Meet Daysha! This long haired beauty was found in one of START’s cat managed colonies. We did not realize she was friendly until she was trapped to get spayed. At that point Daysha tested positive for FIV which is no cause for concern. It just means her immune system is slightly compromised but she can lead a very full, healthy life. Born in April, 2016, she is a little love, though a little hand shy and skittish at first. Once she feels comfortable and trusts you, you will have a new furever friend! Daysha loves attention, having her coat brushed, being pet and being talked to. To keep her coat looking so beautiful and knot free, she should be brushed several times a week. She also loves to play with her catnip mice and really enjoys when you spend some time to play with her using teaser toys. She gets along with other cats in her foster home and is the talker of the bunch! You will hear her talking mostly when she is hungry or looking for a treat. Her favorite treats are cut up steamed shrimp or a spoonful of tuna. Daysha is not a lap cat but once you gain her trust, you can pick her up for a quick hug and kiss and tell her what a pretty girl she is.
Daysha is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested and microchipped.
