Meet Max:
Special Needs: Tested + with Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV)
Light-eyed, long-haired and lush in licorice, magnificent Max was found wandering the streets in Richmond Hill and taken into our care.
Once matted and malnourished, soaked and sick from a severe eye infection, given food and the right medications, he slowly recovered.
And although he tested positive for the Feline Leukemia virus (FeLV), he is fully adoptable – as an indoor-only cat, either as the sole kitty or with another FeLV positive one.
Timid and shy, he feels safest when hiding, but with patience, time and understanding, fearful Max will morph into friendly Max, and make some special someone the most special of companions.
