My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Hi'ilani. She is a spayed 9 yr old, 7lbs Maltese. She was rescued i from a puppy mill several years ago on the island of Oahu. Unfortunately, her rescuer began suffering from dementia and was surrendered to Hawaii Dog Foundation recently.

Hi'ilani arrived pretty broken--long toe nails, matted hair, and ulcerated eye, overdue on vaccinations and a mouth full of bad teeth. It's going to take a while to get her healthy, but we're certain we can get her there. Already, after just a bath and nail trim, we can see that she is feeling better.
