Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Steel | 2 years old | 20lbs | Fostered in Toronto
He is a little gem; makes friends with every dog he meets whether on walks, at the store or even the vet waiting room.
Steel goes for group walks twice a week and has the time of his life. He also goes to daycare and doing fantastic. He has car anxiety (panting / pacing and crying ) and his recall has improved a lot - you can call or whistle and he will come every time.
Steel gets super-excited when you come home and is full of energy and love. This big softie loves to snuggle and will lay in bed with you as long as you let him. He is house trained and is not aggressive. He is very toy receptive and can keep himself occupied. He absolutely loves to play fetch and go on walks.
Steel was hit by a car in Mexico before coming to Canada. He recently saw the neurologist and pediatric surgeons who diagnosed that he has and altered/ narrowed pelvic canal diameter, with some pain on palpation of right side. Both specialists do not recommend surgery but do recommend that Steel's fibre intake will be increased (canned pumpkin, etc.). If this proves insufficient lactulose can be
prescribed. The supplements to his diet will be for his life to allow him to be pain free.
Steel has been neutered and is up-to-date on vaccinations
