Addie is an 8-year-old miniature dachshund and 10 pounds of cuddly charm. She has brought joy to our family.
We are moving out of state for work. After spending the past few years at home with our children (and Addie), my wife will be working long hours outside the home, as I do. We feel that Addie would be unhappy alone for long periods of time. Much as we will miss her, we know her life will be better with someone who can offer the time and attention she deserves.
Addie is crate-trained and accustomed to boarding; she can certainly be left for some time. But the ideal adoptive home is one in which someone will be home with her most of the time on most days.
Addie is in excellent health and is very low-maintenance. She is the ultimate lap dog
