Meet Thor!
This superhero is a 2-year-old, Male, German Shepherd Dog in search of a new family to love and call his own!
Thor is a fun, active, young Shepherd in need of an active family who can meet is physical and mental needs daily. What that means, is we're looking for someone who will make sure Thor is getting proper exercise and mental stimulation every day of his life. If you're looking for a couch potato to watch TV with and your idea of exercise is letting him out in the back yard periodically, then Thor is not the right fit as he will not be a fulfilled pup. Hikes, daily walks, fetch, proper play, obedience practice, structure -- that's what we're looking to provide this guy day in and day out to ensure he reaches his potential!
Socially, Thor is good with certain dogs, but he will need an owner committed to working on his socialization and providing him proper discipline so he can become further well-balanced. He's great around people, and has some experience with children. That said, we're looking for a home with children at least 7 years of age, so please no homes with young kids or babies. If you have a well-balanced female dog of decent size, we will consider Thor for you, but please no small dogs or cats. Also, please no apartments or townhomes for Thor as it is not the ideal setting for a working-breed dog.
