Available for adoption! Looking for that even tempered, moderate energy Australian Cattle Dog mix who would rather be with you than other dogs? Meet Jessie a 2-3 year old spayed female. She is crate and house trained. Super with other dogs both male and female. Outgoing and loveable with people. She does alert bark if a stranger comes to the yard, but is not a "barker". She was a stray brought into a high kill GA shelter and rode to CT with many volunteers meeting and liking children on the way. She is not good with cats. Jessie walks nicely on leash and knows basic obedience cues. Being a moderate energy dog, she will be fine with a few walks a day (At least one that is an hour) but she does love to play with toys and she is smart, so engagement with her new owner and enrichment toys are a must! Jessie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm neg and on prevention as well as flea/tick prevention and she is microchipped.
