My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shy was surrendered to our rescue because of lack of time. Hedgehogs require attention and love in order to be socialized. Shy is just that shy. She needs someone who is going to be attentive and work with socializing her. Shy has not bitten just curls in a ball when she is anxious. She loves to be sung to and she loves to be bathe. She does like to roam free but this requires limited space where she can be safe and because she is so small she can hid so I recommend a small playpen if you going to allow her freedom. Please be aware that hedgehogs have prickly skin when nervous I recommend handling her with gloves when she is relaxed then it is more comfortable for her and you.
