When you hear the name "Juneau" you think... "Alaska" ... Well, there's nothing cold about THIS Juneau. In fact, this Juneau would make an excellent bed warmer on cold nights!
This lovely female Alaskan Malamute (7 years old) is looking for a new home after her human received unfortunate medical news which prevents her from keeping Juneau forever. This was a particularly difficult decision for her present owner, but the decision was made with Juneau's best interests in mind.
Juneau is a friendly girl, and she has lived with another dog AND a cat, so she MIGHT be accepting of other respectful dogs with proper introduction and chemistry. Don't be fooled by her accepting behavior, though...Juneau is a serious pack animal and reserves such grace only towards her "pack" and not to other random animals on the street ... to be clear, Juneau should NOT ever attend a dog parks (which are full of bacteria anyways!) or family barbecues where everyone brings their dogs!
Juneau has no known health issues and is completely house trained. She knows how to "sit", "give paw" and "lay down." She also likes to "speak" sometimes, - usually when she knows breakfast and diner is coming, or, when she is playing with you with a toy. Juneau is spayed, microchipped and up to date with all her vaccinations.
