My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leroy is a 2 year old Pointer/ Hound Mix that was rescued from a high kill shelter along with his brother. He loves to play outside and he is a very fast runner. We were told by the shelter attendant that he and his brother were hunting dogs before they were abandoned. We're not sure about his hunting skills, but we believe that he will make a wonderful family dog or companion. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and he does fine with children. He is not aggressive towards cats, but he does like to chase them from time to time. Leroy is up to date on all of his vaccinations and heartworm preventative and he has been neutered. Requirements to adopt Leroy include a fenced in yard and owning another dog. An adoption application must be filled out before scheduling to meet this dog. His adoption fee is $125.00. If Leroy and his brother, Charlie, are adopted together then there will be a discount applied to the adoption fee. Please contact us for more info.
