My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our beautiful Everest is a one year old, purebred, English Bull Terrier.

Everest came to our rescue after being pulled from a local shelter, when her original family surrendered her due to not being able to provide proper care for her.

It seems that Everest lived the majority of her life as an outside dog, she is most comfortable being outside, but is learning just how great the life of an indoor dog really is.

She didn't know how to walk on a leash, how to go up or down the stairs, or even how to relax inside of a home, BUT with the structure, guidance, love, and commitment of her current foster home, she has made HUGE progress over the last month.

Everest was never properly socialized with other animals, so we do feel that a home without any other animals is what she needs.

We would also love to see her enter a foster-to-adopt home, where we are able to support her adopters through the transition of integrating her into your home.

Everest is medium energy, and now enjoys taking walks around the neighborhood. She also enjoys relaxing in the sun with her people by her side.

We would like to see Everest in a home with older children, or even without children, as she is a big girl, who may not know her size when playing with small children.
