My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET ADOPTABLE WILLOW!

This fluffy white beauty is miss willow. She’s another one of the dogs from the puppy mill situation. She’s a girl full of sass, she will tell you when it’s dinner time, when she’s excited to see you, and if she hears you come home. She’s still a work in progress, but she has come so far. She’s still young around a year old so she still has so much more room to grow.

She LOVES treats, we call her the cat dog (she will love you on her terms). She’s still a work in progress and doesn’t seem to fully trust. She likes to come and lick your hand when you least expect it, she loves to be brushed. Willow does get nippy when she is playing as well as using her paws, and if a dog comes near her food. But a firm no gets her to stop she also knows her spot to get fed which is the dog bed. We’ve been working on the leash thing, she gets so nervous she tends to try and run and takes quite a while to settle down on leash. She does well with all size dogs, and hasn’t had a problem with kids since she’s in a house with 4 ages 6-11. Willow has a gentle mouth taking treats and always wants to see what your doing. She’s a bit of a hoarder she likes to hide things she loves as well as her persons things.

Willow would thrive in a home with someone who is super patient and won’t give up on her. She would also do great if another dog was there to show her how to love her people(she’s a little socially awkward there). She’s super smart and may howl if she doesn’t feel like being in the kennel. We’ve had a couple accident in the house, but it’s usually because there are big scary people walking outside so she won’t want to walk out without some doggie friends to encourage her.

Willow's adoption fee is $250. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready for her new home!
