My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Prince in Port Hueneme, CA and I am also fondly called Bo-Bo Bear since I'm fuzzy and cuddly like a bear! I'm a super sweet 10 year old guy that was an owner surrender due to her losing her home. I am neutered and UTD on all my shots. I am a little on the heavy side, but have lost at least 8 pounds since being with my foster family & becoming more active. I would need my fur-ever family to keep me active with daily walks and outside soccer time.

I REALLY like food, and would really like you to share yours with me, but please don't give in to my cute little face as sharing my have been part of my heaviness. I have become better at not begging as much, but I'm definitely a work-in-progress! I'm super fuzzy as my beautiful black-tri coat is growing back in. I had a skin issue that my previous owner couldn't figure out & they thought it would be better if I was shaved. My skin is all cleared up now & my coat is coming back in nicely. Now that I'm a bit more settled, I'm turning into quite the 'velcro' dog, always at your feet or as close as I can get! I ride great in a car & I love long walks on the beach or around the neighborhood, but I don't care to make friends with other dogs when I'm out, I get pretty anxious about them being near me. I can't decide if I want to play or if I feel threatened.

I would probably do best if I was an only dog in the home as I have some issues with resource guarding, mainly with toys. But if I did have a fur-sibling, a super chill female (spayed of course) might be ok. Likewise, no younger children in the home either. Their quick movements make me nervous and I don't like to feel crowded by anyone. Teenagers should be fine as I really love the ones who I live with now at my foster home. I have not been tested around cats or other animals, so I don't know how I feel about them. I'll be bringing with me an awesome pop-up crate & food storage container, and of course my favorite ball. I can't wait to meet you!! http://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-applicat'|
