My story

Genesis is a gorgeous 3 year old shepherd that was treated so terribly in her young life, but is hoping that a new home and family will help to erase all of that. She was found tied up in the woods in the city by a river, abandoned and left for dead. Thankfully someone spotted her and got her to safely, now this lovely girl is safe and ready to put all of that behind her. While she is shy when she first meets someone, within minutes of knowing you, she nudges her head against your hand and wants you to pet her. If you should stop, she'll nudge you again for more attention. She truly loves people and is such a sweet, mild-mannered, well behaved girl. She seems ok with other dogs so if you have one, bring them in to meet her and we'll see how they do. She would do best in a more commotion-free home with older kids. If you can give Genesis the loving home that she's so deserving of, come in and meet her. File#28266 6/13/18
