Blue is a fantastic and beautiful 9 month old husky mix. He's sweet as can be and he's a showstopper with his amazing blue eyes. People compliment him all the time on his handsome looks and good nature!
He is crate trained and potty trained and he hasn't had a single accident in the house.
He has a lot of husky puppy energy and requires a fair amount of daily exercise. I take him on at least two long walks per day and try and go to the dog park too so he can run for a while. He is a rambunctious puppy but he plays well with other dogs - though sometimes he does trample smaller dogs because he is not aware of his own size! He would absolutely love a home with a fenced yard and another bigger dog that he could play with. I've taken him to a few different dog parks and he loves chasing balls and other pups and he also loves playing in the water!
He would benefit from some training classes and someone who is willing to work with him consistently on commands. He is a quick learner but he does need some more work with that. I've been working on sit, stay, and heel, and he has greatly improved in the two weeks I've been fostering him. He's inconsistent on the leash - sometimes he walks like a perfect gentleman and sometimes he is distracted by squirrels or kids and will pull quite a bit. Once he gets the hang of the leash he'd be great to go on runs with too.
He's a very loving and loyal dog and he needs to find his furever home! He loves everyone he meets and is very social and friendly. I would keep him in a heartbeat but I think he'd be happiest with a family or a couple with a yard for him to play in, and someone who's willing to devote time to the training and exercise he needs and deserves.
