My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! My name is Yuca. My friends think that I am a Pug Chihuahua mix. I think it's a pretty cute mix, if you ask me.

I'm probably around 6 years old. It's just an educated guess, though, so don't hold me to it. I have already been Spayed, had all my necessary vaccines, and I have been microchipped. I'm basically ready to go to my new home.

Not a lot is known about my history. My friends found me at a local high-kill shelter where I had been dumped by my family. Thankfully, after waiting for a couple months A wonderful volunteer told CageFree what a friendly loving gal I was and they decided to let me join the rescue pack!

You can probably tell from my photos that I am a little overweight. I'm looking for a family that will keep me active and help me lose some of the extra pounds I have. Could you be that family for me?

I've had so much fun getting to know all the people and other rescue doggies here. I know I'm an orphan, but I've heard this is a safe place to be so I've got nothing to be sad about anymore. Except that you haven't come to adopt me yet!
