Meet Jake: Jake is a very loving dog. He does well with strangers and doesn’t bark a whole lot unless the other dogs are barking. Jake seems more tolerable of the cats and seems to be more of a “follow the crowd” kind of dog when the other two chase the cats. He loves to snuggle with you on your lap or near you and he tolerates hugs and kisses but he does not like to be picked up or carried. He is very playful and I think he would enjoy older kids, but I would be careful with very young kids. He loves to be outside and goes potty outside most of the time, but, like Benji, if you are not regularly letting him out, he will go potty in the house. He has figured out how to remove the belly bands, so they don’t help much. I think he will be fairly easy to potty train as he listens very well and understands the word “no”. He does well with other dogs but I think he would also do well as an only dog.
