Bugsy is an adolescent, bobtail Cur/ Boxer type mix. He was found by our dumpster searching for an easy meal and never claimed. He tested positive for heartworms (successfully completed treatment) and mange, was emaciated and suffered a severe skin allergy due to a flea infestation, so it is clear why no one claimed him, he was simply unwanted. Nonetheless, this boy is very loving and has taken everything in stride. Bugsy has proved some dogs have better temperaments than some people because he has been nothing but friendly towards the kind that almost killed him. It is very unsettling to know someone would let such a wonderful dog get in such a horrible state, but Bugsy has moved on and we are too, by helping secure his place in a more loving environment. Bugsy is now healthy, his coat has completely re-grown, he has been altered and is more vibrant than ever. He has shown great manners and even does his business outside. Come meet Bugsy today before someone else adopts him first.
