Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sherman, approx 2-3 years old, housetrained and very sweet and loving with people. He seems to be okay with cats as well. He loves to play with other dogs and rides well in the car. At a recent adoption event, he was nice to everybody.
Shermie tested negative for heartworms and positive for Lyme. He has completed his treatment for Lyme. He is neutered, up-to-date on shots, and on heartworm preventative. He has been wormed.
Sherman has mild anxiety-related issues: food-guarding (with dogs, not people), and he gets upset when his doggy housemates bunch up at the back door and are barking. He'll turn on the smaller beagle in his foster home. His foster mom has been able to control this behavior (and in fact, he hasn't acted out at the back door lately), but he would probably be better with a dog larger than he is who will stop him or as an only dog.
Sherman is a smaller medium-sized beagle--not pocket-sized--but shorter in the legs and smaller than most hunting beagles.
Sherman is not at the rescue. He is in foster some distance away from Club Pet. If you're interested in Sherman, fill out an application. Upon approval of the application, Shermie's foster mom will either bring him to visit you or meet you at Club Pet.
