My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gracie is a 10 lb maltese/shih tzu mix who just turned three years old in June. She is a very sweet girl who loves all people, including children, other dogs and even cats, who she is very respectful of. She is a little spitfire who is extremely active and enjoys playing with toys and going for long walks, but can also be found snuggling on the couch with her foster siblings (canine and feline!). Gracie is housetrained and also crate trained. She is looking for a family that is home more often than not because she does not like to be left alone. She also really enjoys the company of having another dog or two in the family. She has exhibited some frustrated greeter behaviors when out and about, which her foster mom is working with her on using positive reinforcement and would love a family that will work to continue the training. Gracie has been diagnosed with Addison’s Disease, which is now under control and being managed, but it does mean she will need a monthly injection for the rest of her life.
