Fergal is a gorgeous red classic tabby, he was brought in as a stray and he was so terrified when he first arrived to us. When we got him settled in a cage one of our staff sat with him to comfort him and he just melted into the touch. Since then he has grown more confident and is just the silliest guy. He will push other cats out of the way if he wants attention and gets easily jealous. He has formed a bond with the staff member who helped him adjust, and is happy when she gets a break to come give him some love. He can get a little sassy at times and swats but that's his own way of showing love. Come in and meet this fiesty little lovebug! Estimated to be born July 2017.To meet this adoptable pet, please fill out an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org and a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment.

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
