Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
Percy Pancake is currently living in a foster home in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.
Hi! My Name is Percy Pancake. Sadly, I was found as a stray in Texas and my owners didn't want me back. So a rescue took me in and got me all up to date on my vaccines, some dental work and some meds for my chronic eye condition (dry eye). I have some visual impairment but that doesn't stop me from enjoying life. My foster mom says I'm very smart. I just need some time to sniff, and walk around a new house before finding my way. I can hear and smell very well, so that really helps me get around.
I am about 9 years old (weigh 18lbs) and love all people and ALL dogs!!! I've never met a human or dog I didn't like. I am very quiet in my crate and in the house. My foster mom has never heard me bark. I love going for walks, following my humans around the house, getting pets from everyone, playing with dog toys and taking naps on the couch. I'm getting so much better at walking and I'm even able to keep up with the bigger dog. My age doesn't slow me down much!
I live with two other dogs in my current foster home. I don't mind their company but I'd much prefer to be around my human companions. Like a typical pug, sometimes I like to get playful and goofy. I'm in GREAT shape for a senior pug that loves to eat!
I am a typical pug who enjoys the affection of humans, has a laid back personality and gets along with everyone. I really would love a home with a family who wants to give me lots of love and attention, take me on walks, and have some patience with me as I learn your routine and layout of the house!
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please note that preference is given to adopters in
Wisconsin, but Illinois adoptions will be considered. will be considered.
Adoption fee is $250.
