Hi! My name is Max. I’m a 2 year old Aussie/Lab. I came to the HCHS from another shelter, where my owner surrendered me because they were moving. I am a bit shy with new people and the shelter is a little overwhelming for me. I do not like cats, and I am dog selective. Dog selective means, I’m just picky about who I let in my circle. I need proper introductions to other animals, just like people dogs need to meet to socialize and build our friendships.
I recently left the HCHS for my Happy Tail, but my adopter had some changes in their life so they had the time for me. I did live with a child at the last home. It was so great to be in a home and be loved. I know that all of these changes are not my fault, so please share my story - I have so much love to give if someone has the time to commit, I promise I will be your friend forever!
