My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spanky is a strikingly attractive dog, with a personality to match. Spanky is a 2 year old Corgi mix and weighs 20 pounds. Spanky came to one of our foster homes from an overfull shelter in Texas. He was found as a stray and never reclaimed. Spanky was very happy to get out of the shelter and into a home again.

Spanky is a very good boy. He is housetrained, kennel trained and has good house manners. He already knows the sit command and is so smart he will learn other commands quickly. His ideal foster home would be an active home with a fenced yard where he can run and play safely. Spanky gets along well with all dogs, but would do best with dogs his size or a little bigger. He likes to play and his style of play can be a little too much for smaller dogs. His home should also not have children under the age of 10 for the same reason. He is a great car passenger who would love to go on road trips with his new family.
