My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zeus is a 40 pound 10 month old puppy. We aren’t sure exactly what kind of a mutt he is. He could have Boxer, Staffordshire Terrier, Pointer or many other breeds in him. We do know that since is 10 months old now his adult weight should be between 45 and 60 pounds. What we do know is that Zeus is perfect. This little guy does great with other dogs and cats and is the perfect puppy. Zeus is a gentle player and loves to do zoomies with other dogs. He isn’t overly hyper and will play for 20 minutes and then fall asleep in your arms. Zeus loves to cuddle and will happily snuggle in and sleep all night next to his person. He is housetrained and lets you know when he needs to go out. Zeus walks well on a leash and loves to go on car rides. He loves to fetch and will bring a toy back and drop it at your feet.

Zeus came into rescue because he was attacked by another dog and needed more help than his family could provide. His jaw was badly broken and he needed a specialty surgery called a Mandibulectomy. It’s a fancy work for an amputation. He had to have the end of his bottom jaw removed, it was shattered and could not be repaired. He is missing one of his canine teeth and his incisors on his lower jaw.

Zeus would like a fenced yard at his forever home, he loves doing off leash zoomies. He also need an adopter who can get him out to potty every 6 hours until he gets a little older. Zeus is intelligent and eager to please his people, he would love people who would take him to puppy class and teach him tricks.

Zeus is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped.
