Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationSubmitting the application includes us contacting your vet and personal references, along with the rental agency if applicable.
- Home CheckDuring the home check is normally when we do a meet and greet to see how everyone will do.
- Approve Application
- Take the Pet HomeOnce the application is approved, the animal will go home. We have a 30 day foster to adopt program to ensure everyone is comfortable.
- Sign Adoption ContractThe adoption fee must be paid at this time, if it hasn't already.

Crazy's Claws N' Paws is a 501c3 no kill, volunteer, foster, & donation based animal shelter located in Wayne County, NC. We serve Wayne, Johnston, Lenoir, and Wilson counties, but will adopt outside of these areas with the understanding that the adopter is responsible for transportation and costs associated.
CCNP was founded in 2013. In 2016, we began our Crazy Helping Others Program (CHOP) and Crazy's TNVR (Trap- Neuter-Vaccinate-Return). More information on these programs can be found on our website, along with their own donation buttons.
