My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This Chinchilla / American mix girl was dumped with 3 other rabbits at a rest stop near Dilley. When a Good Samaritan found them, 2 large dogs had already killed one of their companions. It must have been traumatic for them. He was kind enough to rescue them. Peach is easy to handle and has a beautiful dewlap, so she may be a mature girl, possibly a former breeder rabbit dumped when she wasn't wanted anymore. Peach had extensive fire ant bites to her bare skin and a skin infection, but has recovered very well. She is learning to enjoy life again and loves to chew cardboard boxes and explore. She is very opinionated and will let you know if she is displeased with taking her medication and being fussed over. She firmly grabs your fingers and pushes you away but is gentle enough not to break the skin. She is available for adoption to an experienced home where she can enjoy the kind of life she deserves. Peach is a bit "full figured" and needs to lose a little, but just more of her to love! This Lovebug will take a bite of your heart!
