My story

Meet LAINEY!!

Lainey is a 9 year old, 9 pound, spayed female, terrier blend.

Lainey was an "inmate" in our local pound as an owner surrender. She had hair loss likely from poor nutrition that has grown back nicely. She came in with 2 friends who were adopted. Lainey was left behind and she found herself on the euthanasia list. Her time was up, and a rescue friend helped us secure her safety. We are honored to help Miss Lainey find her forever home.

Lainey doesn't know she is a senior girl. She can run with the big dogs and doesn't take any guff from the younger dogs. She is playful, sweet as can be, and would make someone a wonderful companion. She is great in a crate, and does her business outside.

Lainey is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, current on flea and heartworm preventive, and is micro-chipped. She will come with a health certificate if transported.

Lainey's preferred home has a secure fenced in yard she can enjoy supervised (no electric or wireless please), and no children under 8 please.

Lainey is currently in a foster home in San Antonio TX and can be transported to your area once adopted. All adopters must meet requirements.

Lainey is available through Lytle Animal Allies, a 501c3 non-profit. The adoption fee is $185, and ground transport fee to the East coast via Rescue Road Trips is $185. Ground transport runs every 2 weeks and fills up fast.
