Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Coconut came to us as a transfer from Save A Stray in Burns. Seems Coconut was left by her owners when they went on vacation, and the water they left for her was quickly tipped over. Luckily, through a series of events, her owners decided to surrender her and she is heading for a much better life. The owners claimed she is a Poodle/Airedale/GSD mix, but we aren't going to swear to it! She has a beautiful curly coat like a Chesapeake Retriever, a sloped and thin face that resembles a sighthound, and has beautiful golden eyes. Your guess is as good as ours. She is sweet and friendly, she is only 5-6 months old, and she is ready for positive based, force free training. She did well for her temperament testing, but doesn't seem to know any basic cues. She does walk ok on the leash. Initially she alarm barked at dogs on the other side of the fence, but actually does fantastic in playgroup with them. She was kind of afraid of the test cat, and kept her distance.
Coconut's adoption fee is $275 and includes spay, current vaccines, microchip, free vet visit, 30 days free pet health insurance, and custom engraved ID tag.
