Introducing Dale! This spunky little Terrier is a bundle of personality who is waiting to share his love with his future family. When The Pet Rescue Center found Dale he was at a high kill shelter at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding. In the kennel Dale was nervous and very shut down. We would get the occasional hand sniff, but then he would turn away. It broke our hearts to see how sad he was so we scooped him up and brought him back to The Pet Rescue Center. Once out of the shelter he was a whole new dog! Dale basically never stops smiling and loves everyone that he meets! He enjoys his daily walks with our volunteers and one of his favorite things to do is rub his body all over the grass. He is truly a lover of life. Dale is a smaller guy, just about 16lbs, and would make a great apartment companion. We think he is right around 3 years old and very healthy so plenty of years left with lots of love waiting to be given. Consider adopting Dale today!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. The Pet Rescue Center is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
