My story

Livia is a gentle soul who loves to be next to humans. She is fully home/potty-trained and waits patiently for you to return when you have to leave her home alone to run an errand or two. But be sure to know that you'll get a huge welcome upon your return! She’s perfectly fine relaxing in her bed or on the couch (if she’s allowed there). When she snores, it’s so adorable to watch her sleep.

She also likes lounging in the sun and has a huge smile when she’s out sunbathing. She likes carrots and treats. Livia does not like cats and smaller dogs, and will chase them if not careful with the leash. She really only barks when someone is at the front door or the doorbell is rung. Other than that, she is quiet. But she does love attention from humans and just loves to be petted.

She is pretty obedient and knows basic commands and when not to do something if told. She’s been well-loved by her person, but he met and got engaged with someone who is allergic to Livia. Now she has to go. Livia deserves a family who will stick to their commitment for the rest of her life, no matter what.

If you are interested in meeting Livia, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.

[Livia is 6-7 years old and weighs 55 lbs.]

Why adoption is a great option

Livia, a Marina del Rey Weimaraner/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Weimaraner/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Weimaraner/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
