My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blue is an approximately 4 1/2 year old Pit Bull mix who’s fixed, UTD on shots, and microchipped. He’s dog and kid friendly. Blue prefers the company of lady canines, so he’d do best in a home where he’s the only male. We don’t know if he’s a fan of felines. LARC requires a meet and greet prior to adoption with any animals and children in the home.



Blue graduated from the 9th session of the program, but sadly, didn’t get adopted. He’s such a sweet loving guy with soulful eyes who loves affection especially in the form of belly rubs. Blue is generally low energy, but can be enticed to play. He has done well in training and is such a good boy. He graduated from the last session fully obedience trained, AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) ready, and Master’s in Canine Life and Social Skills (CLASS) ready. We expect him to pass his tests again this session and maybe even get his PhD. Blue is house/kennel trained.



*If Blue doesn’t find his forever home, he will need a foster home as the program has a 2 session max.*
