ROCKO is possibly a cattle dog or basenji mix, 29lb, neutered male, fully vaccinated, flea free, and heartworm negative, crate trained, and house trained. ROCKO lived most of his life with a furry companion BUT being in foster care as an "only child" has certainly spoiled this boy ! ROCKO loves human companionship and being with them (or beside them or in their lap) at every opportunity; ROCKO just LOVES ALL PEOPLE who show include him in their life ! Family and routine are very important to ROCKO; he thrives on BOTH, and is eager to alert and protect them. He is a very happy, active senior, and playful boy who is always ready to GO.. GO on a walk, GO on a car ride, GO outside, GO play, GO for a run, GO hiking, etc.... OR is happy to rest with his trusted companions nearby. He does great with car rides, and walks well on a leash. He is smart and does well with training, he knows sit and stay. His favorite toy: squeaky tennis balls and very durable (KONG) toys. He can be anxious with other dogs near his personal space; so, training is definitely recommended if another dog is in the home. He has adjusted well to his 4 legged furry female cousin visiting his home for a short weekend stay. A fenced yard (minimum 4 feet height) is a requirement, and children over 12 yrs of age.
