Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Penny was rescued from a shelter a few days after giving birth to 2 puppies. She was very scared and emaciated. Now she is much happier, healthier, and is ready for a forever home. She is estimated to be between 3 to 5 years old and she weighs 7.11 lbs.
Penny will use potty pads but prefers to go potty outside. She enjoys sitting in your lap and laying on the bed with her foster siblings. Penny is very skittish at first, it takes time and patience to earn her trust, but once she trusts you, she is very affectionate and loyal.
She loves playing with her squeaky toy and running around the fenced-in yard at her foster home. She’s a very good girl for her foster mom when trimming her nails. She didn’t like her foster mom’s cat but this could have been because the cat kept trying to see the puppies and Penny was just being protective.
She is spayed, UTD on shots and on HW preventative

An application must be submitted and approved before a meet-n-greet can be scheduled.
Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.
Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA MD and GA.
