My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adagio (pronounced a-da-jee-o), along with his brother, Allegro, was rescued from Devore Shelter in July of 2018. They were estimated to be 4 months old at the time of their rescue. Both boys caught kitty colds at the shelter but, once in foster care, both were cared for, loved and restored to health. In return, they were grateful and reciprocated that love.

Adagio means a “at a slow tempo.” His name suits him because it took him a little longer to feel comfortable, but once he did, his personality shone through beautifully. He is handsome, loving, playful, and kind. He can be very rambunctious and enjoys chasing his toys around the room. Yet, as much as he relishes playtime, he also loves to lay on his foster mom for naps and cuddles. As is true for most black cats, Adagio is highly intelligent, very curious and loves to explore new surroundings. He is being socialized with small children, dogs and other cats of all ages.
