This hound! What a sweetheart. He tried to climb in my lap when we were taking photos. Boomer was picked up by our local animal control as an injured stray. We believe he had been clipped by a car. His left eye was injured and he had some scrapes on his face. In addition he was extremely thin. Boomer had probably been on his own for some time. You can see from one of his photos that his left eye looks different. In person it looks normal. Boomer needs a family who will commit to him being an indoor dog. He also has to be leash walked for potty breaks and exercise or his family has to have a 6 foot wooden fence. He is definitely a fence jumper! We love this boy and don't want to take any chances that he will end up lost again. Right now Boomer is about 55 pounds, He still needs to put on a little additional weight.
