9/1/18~Dundee was rescued off the streets when he was about 4 years old. Then he lived in a dog cage for the next 2 years!! He is out and about in a bedroom now and is doing great! We put him in a cage at first and let him come out on his terms. Took about 10 days and he finally ventured out! We will be working on giving him the run of the house next. So if you have a small house or an apartment that would be best for him.
Dundee is about 6-7 years old, neutered, combo tested Negative and vaccines are done.
All of our kittens and cats are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and negative for FIV & FeLV (unless otherwise noted). Please note that we cannot guarantee the health, behavior or temperament of any of our animals.
Our cat/kitten adoption fee is $85. CASH ONLY.

HOW TO MEET: Our cats/kittens are housed in foster homes and we do not currently have a public location for cats/kittens to be visited during normal business hours. We currently hold adoption events twice a month at local pet stores. The first event each month is held the second Sunday at the Taylor Pet Supplies Plus located at 22124 Ecorse Rd, Taylor, MI 48180. Our second adoption event each month is held the last Sunday of the month at the Woodhaven Pet Supplies Plus located at 19295 West Rd, Woodhaven, MI 48183. We ask that you DO NOT contact Pet Supplies Plus about our animals. They are kind enough to provide space for our adoption events, but are not involved with our rescue work. Please email us if there is a specific kitten/cat you would like to meet to be sure they will be at the adoption event. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THE ANIMAL YOU ARE INTERESTED IN WILL BE AT THE ADOPTION EVENT.
IMPORTANT: In order to adopt or for special arrangements be made to meet a cat/kitten, an application MUST be completed and approved. Once submitted, a volunteer will review your application and contact you if your application is approved or if further clarification is required. We will make every attempt to contact APPROVED applicants within 3 business days of application, but this will depend on the number of applications received. If you do not answer all questions fully on the application, then your application will not be processed. Friskie Felines MI does NOT adopt animals out on a first-come, first-serve basis. Instead, we adopt animals to homes that are best fits for our animals' needs and personality. We are an all-volunteer organization, and regret that we do not have the resources to contact applicants that are not approved. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
