My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ernie is a very handsome boy with stunning bullseye tabby markings. He was dumped with six other kittens on the side of a busy road - one didn't make it through traffic, and two others nearly starved. Luckily, a kind person caught them and brought them to us because they knew they couldn't make it on their own.

Ernie is understandably traumatized from the whole thing, but he has made a lot of progress so we believe he will be a sweet and affectionate boy with a patient and understanding family that knows each cat needs time to come of his shell. He is playful with his lighter-colored, aptly-named brother Bert, who is more outgoing and is showing him how fun people can be.

Please don't overlook this shy boy! He just needs some time and patience, and when he's ready he'll return your love ten-fold. :) We are asking that he be adopted with his brother Bert. They are both about five months old.

Ernie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea-free, and dewormed. He combo-tested negative for FIV/FeLV. To meet him and his brother Bert, complete an application at tinyurl.com/meowornever and someone will be in touch to schedule a meet-and-greet!
