My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Crystal is a gorgeous, young, affectionate purr~ bucket CALICO who was found on my street near a house that is in the process of being built. She definitely is not a feral cat because she has no fear of humans. Let’s just say that someone loved her at some point. And obviously someone dropped the poor thing off (MAY THEY ROT!) because we live in the boonies and I know all of my neighbors. I even checked the area wide neighborhoods app just in case she had traveled a long way. No luck there. As I foster constantly for the Jackson Animal Care Center, I knew that they were overwhelmed with felines, yet frankly so was I. I was on my way to pick up a pregnant cat to foster anyway, so I took her with me and showed the staff how beautiful and sweet she was. They said she’d be an easy-breezy adoption, so I left her in good hands after explaining the situation to her (which she did not seem terribly impressed by) and offering up a prayer for an adopter for Crystal. She will be tested for leukemia and feline aids, given two distemper shots, dewormed, given Rabies and also spayed. After that she will be ready for adoption. I estimate her to have been born in February of this year or close to it.
