My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zulu is a happy, active, spunky young mixed breed female with a short white coat and brown patches. Zulu would prefer a home without children and other pets because she wants you all to herself. She loves to play and for a small/medium sized dog, she's quite muscular and athletic. She would love a human that will take her camping, hiking, or even casual daily walking and then come home to snuggle with.

Zulu is very smart and loves enrichment activities, such as puzzles, and will amaze you with her focus and problem solving skills. Zulu even loves swimming, but watch out as she will try to "save" you if you are swimming with her! Worried you can't keep up with this active girl? Don't worry! Zulu has been trained to run on a treadmill and actually needs more mental stimulation than she does physical exertion. Zulu will keep you entertained with her antics! She also loves to play fetch!

Do you need a playful, entertaining, wacky partner to navigate through this equally crazy life? Then Zulu is waiting for you!

More about this rescue

Sooty’s Sanctuary is a group of concerned citizens, volunteers, and fosters, dedicated to giving a better life to the countless homeless pets, and petless homes. We are pending our 501(c)(3), but are none-the-less a non-profit organization, so every cent donated will go directly to the pets and our efforts to re-home them.
