This is the story of a magnificent pure bred Siberian Husky named Yuma. He had the best life any dog could have, but his owner passed away, and the next of kin is moving into assisted living. This sweetheart, at age 10, still has the same spirit he has always had, but he's homeless.
Like many of us that are getting older, his vision is not 100%, but that's OK, because he can still see just fine and it doesn't affect his activities. He was diagnosed with lupus, but it has been controlled with diet, exercise and rest. Yuma is a talker, he likes to chat with you, especially when he is happy or sees you getting out the treat box! He loves walks and doggie ice cream at night before bed. All of his future medical will be taken care of for the rest of his life. Like many huskies, he's not a fan of little dogs or cats so he would do best in a home as an only dog, or, perhaps with a larger breed female dog.
