My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CHIEF will be 2 on Dec 7, so he is still very much a puppy at heart. He is a neutered male, up to date on vaccines and on preventatives. He is blind in one eye,and takes drops once a day, for a cost of $23 a month. He is around 50 lbs and is very smart. He is crate trained (lives with 7 other dogs,so he eats and sleeps in crate). He will bark to go outside,and loves being outside playing with balls, playing in his kiddie pool and sprinklers. He walks well on a leash and knows shake,down,heel,stay (needs work on length of time of stay). He will need a fenced in yard,(preferably high) as he does like to watch birds and chase squirrels that run on top. He is a very happy boy who tries hard to please and is great in the house, but will occasionally counter surf if food is left out (has only happened a couple of times) He loves sitting on the couch for cuddles. He has not lived with cats or kids but older kids should be ok. Chief could use some more Obedience training. He knows a lot but could use more for socialization. I think he would do well with a buddy,with the right introduction. He wants someone to enjoy life with and do things with He is medium energy and rides well in the car. Chief has amazing possibilities and is looking for someone to call his own....located in Springfield, IL
